The missing step between sheet layouts and the next build
Give useful offcuts a second job.
Record the clean rectangle that is really available. Check one part or allocate a project list against your local inventory with material, thickness, grain, trim, and kerf in view. Carry a measured pick list to the rack.

Offcut inventory
Enter usable dimensions after excluding damaged edges. Each item represents one clean rectangle, not an irregular shape or a complete sheet layout.

Find a measured fit
The checker reserves trim on both edges and one kerf on each axis. Material and measured thickness must match exactly; a grain-required part cannot rotate.
Candidate pieces
Enter a part and check your recorded pieces.
Project reuse plan
Give each part a distinct offcut
Add up to 50 approved parts. The planner screens your saved stock and allocates each measured piece once. Parts and inventory stay in this browser; export the pick list before going to the rack.

Each assignment uses one whole recorded offcut for one part. It does not cut several parts from the same piece or update stock after cutting. Verify the physical material and revise inventory after the job.
What a match means
One rectangle fits by the recorded numbers.
Results rank candidates by remaining area after the reserved blank. That is a screening measure, not a nesting layout or a prediction of reusable remainder. The physical stock still needs a defect, face, grain, support, and safe cutting check. Remove an old record after cutting and measure the new clean rectangle before saving it again.
Read the fit-check method →If defects, grain, trim, or safe support invalidate the blank, stop and choose another piece or new stock.
The full reuse workflow
Four field guides
Measure and Label a Reusable Offcut
Record the usable rectangle, material, thickness, grain, and defects before a plywood offcut goes back on the rack.
Read guide →02 / GuideCheck Whether One Part Fits an Offcut
Use exact material and thickness, a conservative kerf and trim allowance, and grain rules to screen one rectangular part against saved offcuts.
Read guide →03 / GuideDecide When to Reuse an Offcut or Buy a New Sheet
Use a measured fit, condition check, and project release gate to choose between stored stock and a fresh sheet.
Read guide →04 / GuideAllocate Offcuts Across a Project Part List
Screen several approved parts against measured stock, assign each offcut once, and carry an auditable pick list to the rack.
