TileFit Privacy Policy

Information You Enter or Create

You may enter job names, customer names, notes, surface types and dimensions, custom surface points, cutout details, tile names and dimensions, material, color, directional settings, price and box information, grout width, waste allowance, pattern, starting point, unit, currency, and language preferences. TileFit uses this information to save your jobs and calculate the layouts, estimates, cut lists, and placement guides you request.

Camera, Photos, and On-Device Text Recognition

TileFit requests camera access only when you choose to photograph a tile box or room sketch. You can instead choose an image through Apple's system photo picker. The selected image is processed on your device with Apple's Vision text-recognition framework so TileFit can suggest dimensions, pieces per box, price, or surface measurements.

TileFit does not upload the image or recognized text to the developer for scanning, and the source image is not saved as part of your TileFit project. Only values you choose to apply become project data. Camera permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

Local Storage

Saved jobs, surface and tile data, layout settings, app preferences, and review-prompt counters are stored locally on your device. Calculated layouts and cut lists are produced on the device from your saved inputs. TileFit does not require a customer account and does not sync projects through a developer-operated cloud service.

Analytics, Advertising, Tracking, and Data Sales

TileFit does not include developer-operated analytics, third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or data-broker functionality. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not build advertising profiles from your jobs, measurements, scans, or app activity.

PDF Exports and Sharing

When you choose to export a layout, TileFit generates the PDF locally and presents Apple's system share sheet. The PDF may include the job details, measurements, layout, estimates, cut list, and guide that you selected. The destination you choose, such as Files, AirDrop, email, messaging, a printer, or a cloud-storage app, may process and retain that content under its own terms and privacy policy. Review the PDF and destination before sharing.

Apple System Services

TileFit relies on Apple-provided system features when you choose to use them, including the camera, photo picker, Vision text recognition, share sheet, device backups, and App Store review prompt. Apple may handle information associated with those services under Apple's policies and your device or Apple Account settings. TileFit does not receive the photo-library contents you do not select, your App Store review text, or the destination account credentials used by a sharing app.

Permissions

• Camera: used only when you choose to photograph a tile box or room sketch for on-device text recognition.
• Photo picker: used only when you choose an image for on-device text recognition.
• On-device storage: used to save jobs, inputs, settings, and app preferences.
• Share sheet: used only when you choose to export or share a locally generated PDF.
• Apple-managed backups: controlled by your Apple Account and device settings; backed-up app data may be restored by Apple.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your TileFit data remains on your device until you delete jobs or remove the app. Removing the app generally deletes its locally stored data, subject to Apple-managed backups. Exported PDFs and copies sent to another app, person, device, printer, or service must be deleted separately at each destination. Before removing the app or changing devices, export any plan you need to keep and review your Apple backup settings.

Children's Privacy

TileFit is a professional and household planning utility and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a TileFit account or backend because TileFit does not operate those services. If you believe a child has sent information directly to the developer in a support request, contact us so it can be addressed.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

TileFit is an estimation and planning tool. Layouts, quantities, yields, costs, savings, waste values, cut dimensions, warnings, and installation steps depend on the measurements, prices, settings, and assumptions you provide. They may not reflect field conditions, tile variation, manufacturing tolerances, breakage, substrate movement, expansion or movement joints, local codes, product instructions, installer methods, or every material requirement.

TileFit does not provide architectural, engineering, structural, construction, safety, code-compliance, or professional installation advice. Verify all dimensions, quantities, cuts, joints, substrate requirements, and manufacturer instructions before purchasing materials or starting work. Use appropriate tools, protective equipment, and qualified professional assistance where needed.

The app and its results are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JiaBao Dai and WoodCutTool are not liable for any material shortage or overage, incorrect cut, breakage, installation defect, project delay, cost difference, property damage, personal injury, data loss, or other consequence arising from use of or reliance on TileFit.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when TileFit's features or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
